Another couple of busy weeks here at USD have flown by. I have been doing a lot of exploring around the San Diego area, discovering all that it has to offer. It is so nice to be able to get off campus every now and then and try out some new things!

Girl's Night
I helped plan out a wonderful night out last week for the women of Intervarsity. It was a wonderful time that allowed us to grow a little bit closer to each other. We enjoyed amazing ice cream treats at Ghiradelli's downtown and wrapped up our night watching 27 Dresses.

Shooting
Sport shooting happens to be a passion of mine back at home. To my joy I found out that I can do it right here in San Diego! Some friends and I drove about 30 minutes south of school to South Bay Range and had a little bit of target practice.

Miramar Air Show
Plug your ears and hold onto your hats! The air show is not for the faint of heart. With F22 planes flying by twice as fast as the speed of sound, it is quite the rush! There were so many things to see and do. The air show ran all weekend at the Marine base just 20 minutes from campus. Admission was free! It was an amazing display.

Carrie Underwood Concert!
My wonderful roommates and I saw Carrie Underwood in concert at Sports Arena on Friday! It was an amazing show, and she is an awesome singer! It was nice that the venue was so close to school.

Other than those exciting adventures, I have just been studying hard and preparing for midterms. College is not easy that is for sure! But the wonderful activities sure balance out all of the studying.
